There was no cinema and no shopping centre, but we were never bored. We swam in the river, picked cherries and played football until it was dark. My grandmother had a lot of animals: chickens, two goats and a lazy old cat.
Today, the village is different. Many young people have moved to the city, and the shop has closed. But the river is still there, and the air is as fresh as before. I visit every August with my own children.
