After a few months, however, he noticed some problems. He had to answer emails late at night, and he sometimes didn't speak to anyone all day. His back hurt because his kitchen chair wasn't comfortable.
So Stefan made some changes. He bought a proper desk and chair, and he decided to switch off his laptop at six o'clock every evening. He also started going to a café once a week to work among people. "You have to set rules," he says. "Otherwise, work takes over your whole life."
