Reale (If it rains…) und irreale Situationen (If I won the lottery…).
First Conditional — real
If + Present Simple, will + Verb. Für reale, mögliche Situationen in der Zukunft.
If it rains, we'll stay at home.Wenn es regnet, bleiben wir zu Hause.
If you study, you'll pass the exam.Wenn du lernst, bestehst du die Prüfung.
Second Conditional — irreal
If + Past Simple, would + Verb. Für vorgestellte oder unwahrscheinliche Situationen.
If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.Wenn ich im Lotto gewinnen würde, würde ich die Welt bereisen.
If I were you, I'd take the job.An deiner Stelle würde ich den Job annehmen.
Tipp: Im if-Teil nie will oder would: „If it will rain“ ✗ → „If it rains“ ✓.
