When she arrived, the chef's assistant told her that the chef was running late and asked whether she could wait. An hour later, the chef finally appeared, apologised briefly and said he could only spare ten minutes.
Petra asked him what had inspired his new menu. He replied that he never discussed his inspiration with journalists. When she asked whether he planned to open more restaurants, he said it was none of her business.
Petra was furious, but she didn't show it. Instead, she thanked him politely and left. That evening, she told her editor that the interview had been a disaster. To her surprise, the editor loved it. "Rude celebrities make great radio," he said. The episode became one of the station's most popular ever.
