How do we form it?
have / has + past participle: work → worked, go → gone, write → written.
I have finished my work.result: I'm free now
She has gone home.result: she isn't here now
Experience and result
For life experiences (ever, never) and recent actions with a result now (just, already, yet).
Have you ever been to Italy?
I've just eaten.
He hasn't called yet.
Duration: for and since
for = how long (for three years), since = from when (since 2020).
We have lived here for ten years.
I have known him since school.
Tip: If you mention a specific past time (yesterday, last year), use the Past Simple, not the Present Perfect.
