One of them, Clara, had hurt her ankle, so they couldn't walk very far. Luckily, her phone still had some battery. She called the emergency number, and their location was sent to the rescue team.
Because of the fog, a helicopter couldn't be used. Instead, a team of six rescuers climbed up the mountain on foot. The hikers were found at two o'clock in the morning, cold but safe. They were given warm drinks and carried down to a hut. "We should have checked the weather forecast," Clara admitted later.
